The Tony Award-winning musical will be returning to Washington DC from July 16 to August 16, 2015, according to the center’s season announcement.

It’s written by the guys who created “South Park” and one of the guys who wrote “Avenue Q.” There’s lots of foul language, as you might expect from that crew, but by all accounts it’s a substantial musical with great songs and lots of laughs.

The Book of Mormon musical story is the tale of a couple of Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda is farcical, irreverent, crude, politically incorrect – and very funny.
