The Book of Mormon Musical returning to Toronto in 2014 – Sep 16 to Nov 30, 2014

Back by popular demand following its record-breaking six-week engagement in 2013, The Book of Mormon Musical returning to Toronto’s Princess of Wales Theatre in 2014 for a limited engagement, with performances beginning September 16, 2014 and continue through November 30, 2014.

The Book of Mormon broke house records week after week during it’s recent Toronto engagement and currently holds the all-time record for the highest weekly gross (for an eight-show performance week) for the week ending June 9 during which the show grossed $1,895,897.00.

Mirvish Productions says the smash musical from “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will return to the city’s Princess of Wales Theatre for a limited engagement beginning Sept. 16, 2014. Information on tickets for the general public will be announced at a later date.

The Book of Mormon features a book, music and lyrics by Parker, Stone and Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez. Parker also co-directs.

The Book Of Mormon musical, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, broke the in-house record in Buffalo for the week ending June 16 at Shea’s Performing Arts Center.

The first national tour of Book of Mormon played at Shea’s Performing Arts Center for only for 6 days with 8-shows from June 11 to June 16, 2013. The Book Of Mormon has continually broken house records across the country since opening in Denver in the summer of 2012.

The Book Of Mormon features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. The production is choreographed by Casey Nicholaw and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker.
