The Tony Award-winning musical will be returning to Denver Colorado from June 13 to July 07, 2018, The popular touring musical is making its fourth Denver stop since 2012.

Despite those previous (and sold-out) visits, tickets are expected to move fast for the latest production, which plays at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House until July 07, 2018.

The story’s about two Mormon missionaries, one a quintessential nerd who’s out of his element and the other a gung-ho Mormon who wants to work in Orlando. They somehow end up in Uganda dealing with some harsh problems.

It’s written by the guys who created “South Park” and one of the guys who wrote “Avenue Q.” There’s lots of foul language, as you might expect from that crew, but by all accounts it’s a substantial musical with great songs and lots of laughs.

In it’s first engagement, Book of Mormon had a record-breaking three-week run in Denver leaving many scrambling for tickets to the sold out show in the fall of 2012. Due to high demand, Book Of Mormon returning to Denver Colorado, starting its run from October 22 to November 24, 2013 at the Buell Theatre.

Tickets were on sale to the public on Last week Monday, and it was a biggest sales day in Denver Center history. Tickets are still available because the musical is in the Buell Theatre for almost 5-weeks.

“It’s just slowed down a lot for the overwhelming demand like it did last year. Last year we sold out in 4 1/2 hours and it just; there’s an overwhelming response, which is a good thing and it just slows down our system, but we are selling Book of Mormon tickets,” Jeff Hovarka with Denver Center Attractions said.

The Book of Mormon, Hottest show in the U.S will play Denver’s Ellie Caulkins Opera House from August 14 through September 02, and many tickets have already sold via season ticket packages. But single tickets will go on sale later this month, and the short Denver run is expected to sell out quickly.

Single tickets for the Colorado run of “The Book of Mormon” will go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 22, Denver Center Attractions announced.

Book Of Mormon musical won nine Tony Awards, including musical, score and book. It was penned by hometown heroes (and “South Park” creators) Trey Parker and Matt Stone — with Robert Lopez, of “Avenue Q” fame — and the Denver showing is the debut of the show’s national tour.
