Book of Mormon musical on national tour will be returning to Dallas Texas for a second time, on February 10, 2015 and will play at Winspear Opera House (2403 Flora St, Dallas, Texas 75201) through February 22, 2015. Book of Mormon was here in last summer from August 20 to September 01, 2013 and was a huge hit.

The Book of Mormon musical story is the tale of a couple of Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda is farcical, irreverent, crude, politically incorrect – and very funny. Two naive Mormon missionaries — one a bumbling misfit and the other relentlessly self-important — wind up in war-torn Uganda on an ill-fated mission to convert souls in the Broadway hit musical “The Book of Mormon.”

The Book of Mormon Winspear Opera House Tickets are now for sale in Dallas Texas. The Book of Mormon musical is scheduled to run limited two-week engagement at the Winspear Opera House from August 21 to September 1, 2013. The engagement is part of a national tour of the hit musical, which opened on Broadway at the Eugene Theater in 2011.

The Tony Award winning musical “Book of Mormon”, written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, has had a consistent cast on Broadway since its debut in March 2011. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of the landmark animated series, “South Park.” Tony Award-winner Lopez is co-creator of the long-running hit musical comedy, Avenue Q. The musical is choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (Monty Python’s Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone) and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker. The Book of Mormon features set design by Scott Pask, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt and sound design by Brian Ronan. Orchestrations are by Larry Hochman and Stephen Oremus. Music direction and vocal arrangements are by Stephen Oremus.
