After a short stint in Saint Louis MO last year, The Book of Mormon musical is coming back to the city! The musical will be part of the 2014-2015 season. But this time at a different venue – Peabody Opera House (1400 Market St, St Louis, MO 63103).

The National Tour of The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, will play in Saint Louis MO as part of the 2014-2015 season at Peabody Opera House. The exact dates will be announced soon.

The story’s about two Mormon missionaries, one a quintessential nerd who’s out of his element and the other a gung-ho Mormon who wants to work in Orlando. They somehow end up in Uganda dealing with some harsh problems.

It’s written by the guys who created “South Park” and one of the guys who wrote “Avenue Q.” There’s lots of foul language, as you might expect from that crew, but by all accounts it’s a substantial musical with great songs and lots of laughs.
