Book Of Mormon hasn’t even hit the stage in Colorado yet and theater lovers in Denver are already anticipating the Book of Mormon’s return next year. Broadway’s most popular musical, Book Of Mormon kicks off the national tour in Denver August 14, 2012.

The announcement Thursday afternoon has created a lot of buzz since tickets to this month’s showing sold out quickly when they went on sale. The Book of Mormon will return to Denver for the performances at the Buell Theatre in October 2013. The change in venue is to allow more people to see the show. Tickets go on sale early next year.

The Book of Mormon national tour will play the Straz Center in Tampa as part of the venue’s 2013-14 Broadway season.

The Book of Mormon is the winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score (Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, Matt Stone), Best Book (Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, Matt Stone), Best Direction (Casey Nicholaw, Trey Parker), Best Featured Actress (Nikki M. Book Of Mormon National tour will stop in Columbus as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Columbus’ 2013-14 season.

“South Park” masterminds, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez, the co-creator of “Avenue Q,” created The Tony Award-winning musical that has surprised critics and enthralled a whole new batch of theater fans. The musical numbers include titles such as “You and Me” and “Spooky Mormon Hell Dream.”

The Hippodrome Theatre confirms Book of Mormon musical for 2013-2014 season. The hottest Broadway musical will play Baltimore during Hippodrome’s 2013-2014 season.

Book Of Mormon, winner of nine the Tony Awards including Best Musical has announced that Original Broadway cast member Jared Gertner will star as Elder Cunningham in the First National Tour of The Book of Mormon. Gertner will join previously announced Gavin Creel as Elder Price. Samantha Marie Ware joins as Nabulungi, as well as Grey Henson as Elder McKinley and Kevin Mambo as Mafala Hatimbi.

The dates for the Baltimore visit have not yet been finalized. But Book Of Mormon will be the first in the the 2012-2013 Hippodrome Broadway Series 2013-2014 season.

“The Book Of Mormon” is a satire about Mormon missionaries in Uganda. Henson starts rehearsing Monday. He says his character “is a closeted homosexual, and that’s a big no-no in the church.”

Henson comes from a musical family. His dad, Johnny Henson, taught Grey his first few songs. His mom, Paige Henson, knew Grey was meant for stardom when he was only six years old.

“I remember him singing ‘Help Me Rhonda.” That just comes to my mind,” says Johnny. Paige is convinced he’s taking broadway by storm to meet a bigger star.

In “The Book of Mormon,” the 22-year-old sings ‘Turn it Off.’ To get into character.
