The Book of Mormon musical story follows two young missionaries who travel from Utah to Uganda, where they hope to convert people in a remote village by sharing their scriptures. They are met by resistance and the harsh cruelties that are part of everyday Ugandan life. Yet it’s from just such tragedies — AIDS, famine, female circumcision — that Stone and Parker derive the musical’s most comedic moments.

Book of Mormon will be in Orpheum Theatre Omaha through October 20, 2013. Hurry to Secure Book Of Mormon Omaha NE Tickets Online before they sell out completely.

“The Book Of Mormon” is a satire about Mormon missionaries in Uganda. Henson starts rehearsing Monday. He says his character “is a closeted homosexual, and that’s a big no-no in the church.”

Henson comes from a musical family. His dad, Johnny Henson, taught Grey his first few songs. His mom, Paige Henson, knew Grey was meant for stardom when he was only six years old.

“I remember him singing ‘Help Me Rhonda.” That just comes to my mind,” says Johnny. Paige is convinced he’s taking broadway by storm to meet a bigger star.

In “The Book of Mormon,” the 22-year-old sings ‘Turn it Off.’ To get into character.
