Book of Mormon Musical national tour will be coming to Atlanta, GA next year January. Book of Mormon performances at the Fabulous Fox Theatre – GA starts from January 28 and continue through February 09, 2014.

The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards, written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez. The Book of Mormon follows two young Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda, who soon discover their training did not quite prepare them for the world outside of Salt Lake City.

The Tony Award-winning musical “The Book of Mormon” is coming to Orlando. The national tour of the Tony-winning musical will play Bob Carr as the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in the fall of 2014. The Book of Mormon musical will be part of the Florida Theatrical Association’s 25th anniversary season in Orlando.

Book of Mormon musical story follows two young Mormon missionaries who are sent to a remote African village that’s being torn apart by war, famine, poverty and AIDS.

Florida Theatrical Association will announce its complete 25th-anniversary season on Feb. 11. Season ticket holders will get the first chance at Book of Mormon tickets beginning Feb. 12 as part of subscription renewals. Single tickets will be available later.

Book of Mormon coming to Las Vegas’ The Smith Center in 2014

The Tony Award-winning musical “The Book of Mormon” is coming to Las Vegas. The national tour of the Tony-winning musical will play The Smith Center in the summer of 2014 as part of the 2013-14 Broadway Las Vegas Season.

“We are thrilled to bring this award-winning musical as a part of our 2013-14 Broadway Las Vegas Season,” Smith Center President Myron Martin said in a prepared statement. “Las Vegas is a theater-savvy town and they know what’s hot in New York. We’ve been getting requests for the show since it opened on Broadway. We’ve also gotten many requests to help acquire tickets in New York.”

The Book of Mormon musical story is all about two young missionaries in Uganda, mixing religious satire with tongue-in-cheek numbers that recall classic gotta-sing, gotta-dance Broadway musicals.

The musical won nine Tony Awards in 2011, including best musical, best score, best book and best direction. It also won a Grammy Award for the cast album.

The Book of Mormon national tour will play the Straz Center in Tampa as part of the venue’s 2013-14 Broadway season.

James), Best Scenic Design (Scott Pask), Best Lighting Design (Brian MacDevitt), Best Sound Design (Brian Ronan) and Best Orchestrations (Larry Hochman, Stephen Oremus); the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical; five Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical, Best Music (Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, Matt Stone), Best Lyrics (Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, Matt Stone), Best Director (Casey Nicholaw, Trey Parker) and Best Orchestrations (Larry Hochman, Stephen Oremus); four Outer Critics Circle Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score (Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, Matt Stone), Best Actor in a Musical (Josh Gad) and Best Director (Casey Nicholaw, Trey Parker) and the Drama League Award for Best Musical.

“The Book of Mormon,” created by Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez, is religious satire that tells the story of Mormon missionaries who travel to Uganda where they meet all sorts of people that challenge their beliefs.
