Book of Mormon Still Tops Broadway Box Office for Week Ending February 02, 2014 with $1.64 Million

The Book of Mormon Broadway Musical Lead the list with grosses $1,641,717 and had an attendance rate of 102.3%, about 0.3% less than that of the previous week. Wicked ($1,403,247) and The Lion King ($1,293,167) and are in the list next to Book of Mormon. The 26 shows on the boards grossed $16,714,699, slipping around 14.40% from the previous week’s totals.

Super Bowl week turned into mostly a super bust for Broadway. Data from The Broadway League shows box office grosses declined $2.4 million and ticket buyers fell by more than 15,000 for the week ending Sunday.
